Our US-patented hot-press technology ensures that the internal tension of the bamboo fibers is fully released during the curing process. The bamboo strands are subjected to a 210°C vacuum-steam treatment. This "pyrolysis" changes the molecular structure of the cellulose, making the material permanently hydrophobic (water-repellent) and rot-proof.
