Our solutions include end-matched Tongue & Groove (T&G) profiles. This engineering feature allows boards to be joined "in the air" (not on a joist), which maximizes structural rigidity across the entire floor and reduces material cutting waste by up to 10-15%. This system is designed to be used with aluminum or hardwood joist systems for ultimate durability.
The "Engineered" aspect comes from our 210°C thermal modification cycle. This process uses high-pressure steam to caramelize the sugars within the bamboo, effectively "petrifying" the fiber. This is followed by a vacuum-pressure impregnation of phenolic resins, ensuring the material is protected from the inside out against moisture ingress and UV degradation.
Engineered boards are provided with "Symmetrical Profiling," meaning the board can be flipped to show either a flat surface or a grooved surface depending on the design intent. Standard dimensions are 1860mm x 140mm x 18/20mm, but we can customize thicknesses up to 40mm for specialized structural projects. The carbonization process ensures a deep, uniform color throughout the entire cross-section.
We offer architects a full suite of technical drawings (BIM/CAD), slip-resistance certificates, and fire-test data to ensure the material can be specified in regulated commercial environments. Our team provides "Wind-Load" calculations for high-exposure rooftop projects.
