Kuntai’s Anhui factory includes a dedicated coating line where UV-stable oils are applied in a controlled environment. Since 2002, we have tested our "Huihuang Bamboo" against the high-UV environments of North America and Australia, leading to our patented outdoor material designs.

Recommended to be installed with end-sealer on all cut ends. This prevents moisture from entering where the UV coating has been broken, ensuring the board remains stable from the inside out.
The bamboo strands are first carbonized to a dark brown, then pressed. After milling, the planks receive multiple coats of UV-absorbing oil which is cured to create a sacrificial layer against solar radiation.
Available in shades from "Espresso" to "Caramel." The UV-stable treatment is integrated into these colors to ensure that the aesthetic vision of the architect is maintained through the first several years of the building's life.
